Delivery terms and cost

Orders are processed Mondays to Fridays during office hours excluding bank holidays. Every effort is made to ensure that you receive your order quickly and in perfect condition. Orders are normally despatched within 2 days of receipt of the order from the internet or the post once payment has been made in full.

Please note that the delivery details below apply to normal sized retail orders. If you wish to place a large order of non-honey-jar items please ring as we may be able to offer discounted delivery charges.

Delivery within the UK

Our post and packing charges are split between honey orders and non-honey orders. In general, jars of honey are much heavier than our non-honey products. The postage and packing charges that apply are :

Note that delivery charges are calculated automatically in the shopping cart.

Your order will be sent via Royal Mail small packets service. If you order 4 or more jars of honey or if your total order including other products is larger in weight then it will be sent via Buciness Post 48 hour delivery. All products are securely packaged to ensure you receive them in perfect condition.

Delivery within the European Union

Delivery to EU countries is made via air mail and takes between 2 and 5 days depending on your country.

Air post Cost : £3.00 up to 125g, £4.00 up to 350g, £5.00 up to 500g and £5.00 per 500g thereafter.

Please note that the shopping cart calculates delivery charges assuming delivery will be made within the UK unless you select your country in the shopping cart page. When you do this it will automatically recalculate the correct shipping charge that applies to you.

You can also opt for delivery by land to most EU countries. The costs are dependent on your country but offer a cheaper cost for large orders :

Land delivery cost for Group (A) EU countries : £23.00 for the first 8Kg (plus packing materials) then £1.20 per Kg thereafter.

Land delivery cost for Group (B) EU countries : £35.00 for the first 8Kg (plus packing materials) then £1.20 per Kg thereafter.

The correct delivery charges for the group your country falls within will be automatically applied if you select delivery by road.

Delivery to the USA and the rest of the world

Delivery to countries outside of the EU are sent via air post and are charged at £3.50 up to 150g, £5.00 up to 350g, £7.00 up to 500g. Each additional 500g is charged at £7.00.

Damage in transit and returns

We value your custom and want you to be delighted with your order. We are keen to hear from you if you have any problems at all with your delivery or any oher aspect of your purchase. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details.

Delivery instructions

When you complete the checkout section of our shop you will see a section where you can give instructions on where your parcel should be left if you are not in for the delivery. Please ensure that you fill this in for orders of 4 jars of honey or more, or for large orders of non-honey products. It is not necessary to fill this in for smaller orders that are sent via Royal Mail.

Also, you are asked to provide your telephone number. We will only use this to contact you if there is a problem with your order (ie with payment or delivery arrangements). We will never call you for any other reason.

Orders from outside of the United Kingdom

Please note that we are delighted to supply international customers. Our international shipping costs are shown in the shopping cart when you select your country from the drop down box. For customers in Europe, you can choose a cheaper delivery by land that takes around a week or for faster air mail. For other countries, only air mail is available.
