Nature's Nectar Limited was founded by
Chris Wood to promote the use of Active Manuka Honey in contemporary health care.
Chris and Paul's primary motivation is to help the many sufferers of persistent and painful
wounds to gain access to the very best quality of Active Manuka Honey for the treatment
of both internal and external conditions. Helping sufferers of chronic leg ulcers and
observing the life transforming healing that Active Manuka Honey can bring about, provides
a powerful and rewarding sense of fulfillment to them.
Chris was born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa and came to the UK when she was 23.
She has two grown-up sons and has recently been blessed with a beautiful granddaughter.
Because of her mother's interest in homeopathy, she became interested in health issues
and strongly believes in nutritional supplementation and natural remedies as an important
augmentation to orthodox medicine.
In 2000 they spent an inspirational holiday in the very beautiful country
of New Zealand. They very much connected with this spiritual land and experienced a
wonderful sense of healing. It was whilst wandering around fascinating little shops in
Pahia, in the Bay of Islands, that they discovered Active Manuka Honey. The knowledgeable
owner of a small health food shop explained to them the unique properties of this special
honey, which so impressed them that they bought a number of jars and gathered as much
literature as they could on the subject.
Upon their return to the UK, they started to research the properties of this special honey
and became more and more interested in the unique healing properties it possesses.
They both knew that they had discovered something very special and this was endorsed when
they saw the BBC Watchdog Healthcheck programme, which featured the research and trials
of this amazing honey. They contacted the program and offered their help, which the BBC
were only too happy to accept, as they were inundated with enquiries from hundreds of
hopeful people who had either been suffering from leg ulcers for many years or from
friends or family of sufferers. At last, there was hope at the end of the tunnel for this
very distressing and painful condition.
Honey has changed their lives in more than one way - and their hope is that it will change
the lives of many other people.
